Prayers

Tonight’s prayers took a turn for the silly. We usually start our prayers off with gratitude; then we pray for one another, then we do our shout-outs.

The kid tends to pray for me to have a good night, which I affirm is an amazing prayer for him to suggest to the Powers-that-be. Well, tonight after he prayed for my dreams to be had, I interrupted him with an add-on.

See, earlier he had spoken about how his future wife was going to have to share his bed with all of his stuffies. As we were sitting there giggling about it for the second time this night (since I had brought it up again to pray for his future partner‘s mental health battling for space with stuffed animals), the kid’s eyes got huge.

What if he met someone who loved stuffies as much as he did? What if she too had a bag full of stuffed animals?

He was so excited about this prospect, it was cute. His eyeballs truly popped out of his head at the thought.

But, for real. His poor future partner better likes books and stuffed animals. 🤪🤪🤪🤪
